Privacy Policy
Notice on the processing of personal data under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR. English summary of the German Datenschutzerklärung.

2. General notice
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Art. 4(1) GDPR). We process your personal data exclusively within the limits of the law and only to the extent necessary to operate this website and provide our services.
Because CodingNexus LLC is seated in the United States, US-specific third-country transfer notes apply (see section 5).
3. Server log files
On every request our hosting provider automatically collects: IP address (truncated/anonymized
where technically possible), date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred bytes,
referrer, user-agent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in stable, secure operation.
Retention: 14 days, then automatic deletion.
Recipients: our hosting provider acting as processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Contact & booking form
When you submit the form on /en/contact/ (or any embedded booking / waitlist widget on this site) we process the following data you voluntarily provide:
- Required: name, business email, GDPR consent checkbox, topic category
- Required for demo booking: requested date and time
- Optional: company, free-text message about your project or use case
- Technical: your local timezone (to map appointments correctly), UI language, request mode (booking / discovery / waitlist)
Purpose: to handle your enquiry — schedule a demo, qualify a project request,
add you to a product waitlist, or answer a general question — and to follow up directly on
that request.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual steps at your request — for
project enquiries; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your explicit consent — for waitlist signups and
information requests not yet leading to a contract.
Retention: until the enquiry is concluded plus 12 months for follow-up;
waitlist entries until the product launches plus 30 days for the launch announcement, or
until you withdraw consent. Afterwards deletion, unless statutory retention obligations apply
or a contract is concluded.
Recipients: the founder of CodingNexus LLC, who personally handles every
enquiry. No transfer to third parties without your explicit consent.
For audit purposes a JSONL log is kept on the server. It contains no plaintext PII — your IP address and email are stored only as HMAC hashes (one-way; cannot be reversed to recover the original values).
5. Transfer to the United States (third-country transfer)
CodingNexus LLC processes the data submitted via the contact / booking / waitlist forms in the United States. Under Articles 44 et seq. GDPR the United States is a third country. The legal basis for the transfer is:
Article 49(1)(b) GDPR — the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract
concluded at your request (project enquiries, demo bookings).
Article 49(1)(a) GDPR — your explicit consent, given via the consent checkbox on
the form (waitlist signups, general information requests).
Note: According to the European Data Protection Board the United States does not provide a level
of data protection equivalent to that of EU law. In particular, US security authorities may, under
certain conditions, access data without you having effective legal remedies in the European sense.
If CodingNexus LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing
Decision (EU) 2023/1795), we will add the certification number here.
6. Browser localStorage
We store your preferred language (cn.lang) and expanded FAQ items
(cn.faq.*) locally in your browser. These values never leave your device and are not
transmitted to us. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2)(2) TDDDG — technically necessary for the
function you explicitly requested.
7. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels. No data is transferred to third parties (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook, LinkedIn).
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- Access information about personal data we store about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectify inaccurate or complete incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erase your data (Art. 17 GDPR), subject to statutory retention
- Restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

9. Complaint to a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
10. Data security
This website is delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Submitted form data is likewise transmitted encrypted (TLS). SMTP transmission to our mail server uses STARTTLS or SMTPS. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures under Art. 32 GDPR to protect your data from unauthorized access — including rate limiting, honeypot bot detection, HMAC hashing of identifying log fields, and salt rotation for practical erasure.
11. Sibling property: NexusVisionOrchestrator
The product site at nexusvision.coding-nexus.com is operated by the same controller (CodingNexus LLC). It uses a separate but equivalent privacy notice with the same legal bases and data handling principles.
12. Updates to this notice
This privacy notice is updated when our data processing changes materially. The current version is always available on this page.
