AI Consulting that ends with a working pilot, not a slide deck.
AI Consulting at CodingNexus is a 4–8 week senior-led engagement that produces a vendor-neutral AI strategy and a working pilot on your data — the document is the proof, the pilot is the evidence.
AI projects pick a vendor first and discover the architecture second.
By the time the proof-of-concept is running, the choice of AI engine has already constrained the integration, the licensing model, and the upgrade path for the next five years. The customer ends up paying for capabilities they could have got cheaper, slower, or differently — and the vendor's roadmap is now the customer's roadmap. AI Consulting at CodingNexus reverses the order: architecture first, vendor evaluation second, pilot third.
Four phases, each with a written gate.
-
Discovery (week 1)
Site visit (DACH) or 2-day workshop (US), inventory existing AI/CV assets, identify the highest-leverage problem.
-
Strategy (week 2)
Vendor-neutral architecture proposal, integration plan, risk catalog. Written, challengeable, footnoted.
-
Pilot (weeks 3–6)
Working prototype on the highest-leverage problem, real production data, measurable success criterion.
-
Handover (weeks 7–8)
Documentation, training, knowledge transfer to in-house team. Optional retainer for the first 90 days.
What you walk away with.
- Vendor-neutral architecture document (PDF + Mermaid sources)
- Vendor evaluation matrix with scoring rationale
- Working pilot on your data, deployed to your hardware
- Risk catalog and mitigation plan
- Runbook + handover session for your team
- Two follow-up sessions in the 90 days post-handover
When NOT to hire me for this
If you've already chosen a vendor and just need an integrator, I'm overqualified — hire a generalist. If your problem is fundamentally a data-collection problem (you don't have labeled images yet), start with a 2-week data-collection workshop instead.
AI Consulting questions.
What is AI Consulting at CodingNexus?
A 4–8 week senior-led engagement that produces a vendor-neutral AI strategy and a working pilot on your production data. Output: written architecture, integration plan, risk catalog, working prototype.
Do you have vendor partnerships that bias your recommendations?
No. We have no kickback or referral revenue from AI vendors. Recommendations are made on technical merit and documented in writing so you can challenge them.
What does the pilot run on?
Your production frames, not vendor demo data. We require a representative sample (typically 200–2000 labeled images) before the architecture phase ends.
What does an engagement cost?
EUR 40–90k depending on number of vendors evaluated, pilot scope, and on-site days. Fixed-price after the discovery call.
